Manager Compliance & LEAs Coordination

Job Description:

  • • To Supervise timely and accurate reporting of information to Law enforcement agencies, related to Branch/Branchless Banking Transactions/accounts or any other area of operations • To supervise maintenance of required databases for compliance department and intimate relevant departments regarding changes therein from time to time or reporting requirements with reasonable • To maintain close Coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies and present Bank’s view Point in collaboration with designated departments and highlight issues or concerns noted by LEAs during the course of their investigations and ensure timely follow up for resolution. • To maintain close Coordination with all functional departments for timely provision of data/information required by SBP related to Offsite/Onsite-Inspections of Bank, Adhoc data requirements and regular reporting in a timely manner • To supervise review of documentation for High Risk relationships/correspondent relationships and ensure that all Regulatory and Procedural requirements are fulfilled. • To ensure that KYC / CDD & EDD requirements are completed prior to account opening and periodic review of KYC profiles of customers is carried out correctly and in a timely manner. • To supervise summarizing the non-compliance, issues and other observations of and present the same to Departmental Senior Management. Liaison with other departments for resolution of identified non-compliances & issues • To prepare reports/MIS/Dashboards for review of Head Regulatory Compliance/CE&CO for onwards reporting to CCM and BRMCC. • Coordinate with Internal Auditor (IA), external auditors & SBP in carrying out compliance responsibilities and plan follow-up actions for resolution of non-compliances observed by Internal Audit, External Audit and SBP Inspection; • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Departmental Management

  • Hold at least Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or Information Technology etc. Having 7-8 years of total Banking Experience with any Commercial Bank/Microfinance Bank with at least 5 years of relevant experience of working with assurance functions (Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance)

  • Highly proficient in using MS Excel, Excellent presentation and report writing skills

  • • Expertise in AML, EDD, and KYC related Regulatory requirements • Thorough knowledge of Prudential Regulations, AML/CFT Regulations and SBP guidelines • Highly proficient in using MS Excel, Excellent presentation and report writing skills
