• Arrange and coordinate for sample based re-evaluation of the gold collateral at the authorized branches through an independent goldsmith/Shroff as per bank policy, while arranging re-evaluation the officer will be responsible for the following: o Plan visits of all authorized branches for re-evaluation of gold collateral on sample basis at start of the year and get it approved by the competent authority. o Sample selection (randomly) of gold loan customers covering all goldsmiths on the branch panel. o Intimation of visit plan to branches along with gold re-assessment process well before start of planned visit. o Arrangement/coordination with independent goldsmith for branch visit for re-evaluation of gold. o Supervision of gold re-assessments process at branches and ensure transparency. o Preparation of risk profiling reports of re-assessed gold loans for sharing to concern branches along with findings and recommendations. o Maintenance of MIS and record keeping of all documents related to gold re-assessment at Head office level. • Process induction/onboarding of new goldsmiths/Shroff for evaluation of gold collateralized loans at authorized branches, while induction of a new goldsmith the officer will be responsible for the following: o Scrutiny/review of applications for onboarding of goldsmith received from the branches strictly as per criteria laid down in the Bank’s policy/manual and SBP regulations. o Get approval of competent authority for on boarding of the goldsmith on the Bank’s panel if the application received from the branch fulfil all the criteria as per the Bank’s policy and SBP regulations. o Convey approval to the branch concerns after getting the case of on boarding goldsmith approved. o Maintaining and updating record of the approved goldsmiths in the system. o Record keeping of gold evaluation service agreements of goldsmith at head office level. o Maintenance of branch wise record of approved goldsmiths and ensure that an authorized branch must have at least three approved goldsmiths on its panel as per requirement of state bank of Pakistan. • Processing/reviewing for approval of clean (unsecured) & collateralized (Secured) loan files received from branches all over the network in line with Product Program, SBP Prudential Regulations and Bank’s Credit Policy.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable Institution in the fields of Business Administration/Banking & Finance/ Agriculture/Economics/Accounts. Have 3-5 years of credit and / or operations related experience.
