Credit Officer

Job Description:

  • • Processing/reviewing for approval of clean (unsecured) & collateralized (Secured) loan files received from branches all over the network in line with Product Program, SBP Prudential Regulations and Bank’s Credit Policy. • Identification of discrepancies, if any, during processing of loan files received from the branches and communication of same to the branches for rectification and resubmission of same for approval. • During processing/reviewing of loan cases, sample based CBC (call back customer) of at least 5% borrowers/applicants to be done as and when required to confirm/check details /credentials/ credit worthiness of the borrower/applicant. • To ensure that the loan cases received from the field are processed, reviewed, compliance check and approved /sanctioned as per TAT mentioned in product manual. • Ensuring compliance of audit exceptions and compliance of all SBP regulations, the Bank Policies, manuals and SOPs in letter and spirit. • Review of post disbursement approved gold collateralized cases received from the branches to ensure that the cases were finalized/approved at branches in accordance with the product program, the bank policy and credit manual. Exception noted during the review are to be conveyed to the concern branches for rectification and taking measures in order to avoid such repetition. Ensure that all reporting pertaining to Credit Management Department have been submitted on timely basis.

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable Institution in the fields of Business Administration/Banking & Finance/ Agriculture/Economics/Accounts.

  • Micro Finance Banking experience Sound communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under Pressure Proficient in MS Office Time Management

  • Excellent presentation skills
