Head System Processes & Automation

Job Description:

  • • Review & Updating of all Bank Operations’ policies, manuals, SOP in coordination with relevant units/stakeholders for assessing the functionality and alignment with systems for simplification and automation both at core and branchless sides. • Ensure compliance with Bank’s operations and SBP/regulator policies and procedures regarding Operations matters. • Identify process for digitization and ensure implementation of the bank digital agenda and train the relevant staff accordingly. • Identify the manual processes across the bank operations & take immediate action for automation/digitalization in coordination with relevant units. • Ensure the coordination with all operations staff of all branches to review the current processes, identify the gaps/weak control & take the steps accordingly for smarter work. • Review of internal & external audit reports to identify the weak links of systems & raise the requirements with IT for development • Help to develop the reports and dashboards to monitor the operational activities across the bank operations • Take necessary steps for improvement & enhancements in processes to reduce the TAT of delivery of services. • Squeezing the gaps between CPS & BS for better performance output by initiating and implementing the necessary remedies. • Ensure the implementation for SBP/regulatory guidelines/instruction across the bank operations department within timelines. • Manage and lead the departmental project effectively and timely conclusion in coordination with relevant Units. • BRD’s and UAT assessment and delivery in line with respective unit requirements and coordination. • Ensure the training of relevant ops staff to understand the new policies/processes/system changes & regulator instructions. • Develop the complete liaison with all Units Head/Lines Manager/supervisors/relevant staff for Updating of new policies/Manuals/SOPs etc. • Any other assignment assigned by Chief Bank Operations.
