AM Compliance & LEA Co-Ordination

Job Description:

  • • To Supervise timely and accurate reporting of information to Law enforcement agencies, related to Branch/Branchless Banking Transactions/accounts • To maintain close Coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies and present Bank’s view Point in collaboration with designated departments and highlight issues or concerns noted by LEAs during the course of their investigations and ensure timely follow up for resolution. • To ensure quality review of data being submitted to LEAs for accuracy & integrity. • To Liaison with Bank’s Legal Department for ensuring effective response over notices received from LEAs. Follow up with relevant departments for timely provision of information and drafting of response in the form of letters, emails and submission to respective LEAs in a coherent & logical manner. • To ensure maintenance of required databases for compliance department and intimate relevant departments regarding changes therein from time to time or reporting requirements • Liaison and guidance of Branches, Head Office departments regarding Compliance/Regulatory matters • Review of Agreements/New Products & Services from Compliance & Regulatory perspective and provide compliance opinion in a timely manner • Liaison with Branches and departments for resolution of identified non-compliances & issues and ensure timely resolution. • Coordinate with Internal Auditor (IA), external auditors & SBP for their periodic Audits/Inspections of the Bank. • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Departmental Management

  • • Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law/LLB/Business Administration/Commerce/Economics • Having 3-5 years of total Banking Experience with any Commercial Bank/Microfinance Bank with at least 2 years of experience of working with Compliance/Legal Department

  • • Sound Communication and Interpersonal Skills • Excellent Presentation Skills • Excellent knowledge of Prudential Regulations, AML/CFT Regulations, Relevant Laws
