Relationship Officer – Deposit Banking

Job Description:

  • • Ensure overall assigned portfolio targets are achieved product wise CALSA / SA / TD on weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual basis. • Take onboard Free Lancers / Brand Ambassador to make a deposit mobilization team of 25 head counts for retail deposit marketing. • Ensure targeted percentage of portfolio mix i.e. between CASA and Term Deposit is achieved. • Achieve fairly priced deposit to support retail deposit growth on the back of multiple accounts. • Establish and maintain good relationships with key potential clients, and develop these into successful, ongoing business relationships. • Ensure the objectives are met within Bank policies, procedures, strategies and maintain coordination with internal units of the branch. • Ensure deposit mobilization and NTB Account Opening run rate on daily basis. • Understand the problems and challenges of clients and seek help from RM/BM to better address those needs. • Seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell to existing clients. • Monitor and assess the activities of our competitors to proactively satisfy and retain MMBL clients. • Provide excellent service to maintain a positive reputation for the business. • Resolve any customer complaints promptly and professionally. • Any task/ assignment assigned by Line Manager to be completed in efficient and effective manner.

  • • Preferably have a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience in sales, management, and operations experience within the retail/consumer banking or any other industry. • Fresh Graduates/Master’s degree holders of A Class Universities / Colleges having sales aptitude & passion.

  • • Knowledge of MMBL’s products/processes and policies. • Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for each of the products

  • • Responsible for execution of customer acquisition process in order to build a healthy portfolio for liability growth and cross sell targets of the team. •Ensure to build up a CALSA / TD customer portfolio within agreed time period.

  • •Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable Institution in business administration, commerce, accounting, marketing, economics, finance or equivalent. •A good understanding of Deposit products and its workability. Must possess knowledge about CASA
