Assist. Manager Settlement & Bank Recon

Job Description:

  • * Settlement of all transactions processed through POS, Cash Withdrawals conducted through any payment scheme i.e VISA, Union Pay, Paypak, Master Card etc * Settlement of all GLs pertaining to any payment scheme * Booking of incomes and expenses in respect of all payment schemes * Analyzing & Settlement of all disputes arising due to any payment scheme * Ensure disputes resolution within TAT as per internal & external & regulator timelines * Maintain MIS of all transactions performed through any payment scheme, dispute settlements & chargeback * Settlement of all transactions performed through any switch i.e I-Link, IRIS etc * Booking of income & expenses for all transactions performed through any switch or Card i.e I-I-ink, VISA, mastercard etc * Settlement of all IBFT transactions thorough Core & Branchless banking * Ensured that, all settlements are made as per actual transactions and amount in respective GLS * Settlement of all UBPs, GOP transactions etc performed through I-Link or any payment scheme * UBPS SAF monitoring and troubleshooting. * Ensure UBPS and Telcos disputes resolution within prescribed time and maintain MIS thereof. * Ensure timely payment of all Channel transactions including SBP, RAAST, VISA Intl', UBPS, IBFTs, Cash withdrawals, cards payments, etc. * Ensure balancing of all settlement heads & GLS of Channel transactions with zero difference on daily basis * Ensure proper booking of settlements received, reconciliation thereof, and keeping record of receivables with their aging. * Ensure Settlement and Reconciliation of all ATM Cash Issuer / Acquirer, IBFT Issuer / Acquirer transactions with Il-ink and other switch. * Ensure timely resolution of customer's disputes regarding all channel transactions * Ensure accuracy in maintaining books and record incomes and expenses as per accounting standards. * Monitoring & reviewing procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies & Central Bank regulations. * Monitoring & reviewing policies & procedures to ensure efficiency & accuracy of ADC operations within the department. * Ensure continuous development & improvement of the procedures within the department. * Ensure proactive resolution of RAAST disputes, which could arise in future. * Identifying RAAST related issues and guide the IT Division for resolution of the issues. * Correspondence with reconciliation, Operations, IT, business, Service quality, branchless banking treasury team for any issue resolution * Ensuring that settlement GLs in core and branchless banking is reconciled on daily basis * Sharing of settlement status with management on daily basis * Any other task assigned by line manager or management. * Reconciliation of Bank reconciliations on daily basis, by ensuring that nothing is outstanding on daily basis

  • Micro & Branchless Banking Experience

Job Specifications:

  • Graduation, Master would be prefered

  • Financial Accounting & Recon

  • Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Core & BB software

  • Other Details / Skills: Detail oriented, pressure handling, meeting deadlines, Microfinance experience, stakeholder management, Team player
