Head SME & Housing

Job Details:

    • This position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing all SME & Housing Finance products and services through the bank network. Strategic transformation of SME & housing strategy and implementation of enterprise lending model. identifying, developing & strengthening relationship with Bank’s customers and project the Bank’s value proposition, ensure achievement of business targets including profitability, optimize yields on relationships, establish market networking and expand market share within the allocated geographical vicinity. Assure portfolio quality both on Urban & rural SME & housing clients.
    • • Develop and monitor implementation of SME & Housing finance Banking strategy and transcribing the same into practical business plan. Translate the broader strategies into specific strategies/ business plans in coordination with head retail banking.
    • • Implement the MMBL toward the development of SME & Housing business portfolio.
    • • Responsible for SME & Housing business plan, specifying and monitoring performance targets for profitability, portfolio and costs at regional and bank-wide level.
    • • Improve the overall profitability of the bank through new SME & Housing business segmentation and Assist. Coordinate with head retail business that the business targets are met. Co-ordinate with other Departments of the Bank to ensure that marketing efforts are synergized.
    • • Responsible to ensure SME and housing targets are met in coordination with HRB’s and front-end business team.
    • • Develop case studies and credit assessments models for effective client screening and assessments.
    • • Develop market segmentation and cluster report for effective business planning and acquisition.
    • • Initiate digital lending strategy in line with MMBL vision.
    • • Ensure renewable energy and green finance initiatives in line with bank overall objectives.
    • • To comply with women financial strategies and effective execution of diversity and inclusion in SME and housing finance.
    • • Assist front end business team & HRBP in resourcing, onboarding and mentorship of quality resources.
    • • Develop effective business strategies and case studies and segmentation for best practices and visibility to all stake holder both internal and external.
    • • Ensure that efforts of front-end business team are synergized keeping in view the target market and risk appetite of the bank with the objective of minimizing NPLs’.
    • • Review & approve SME & Housing credit proposals in accordance with the criteria specified in the Credit Policy of the bank.
    • • Assist And recommend launch of new SME & Housing products with product, where required/ change in parameters of existing SME & Housing products.
    • • Share inter-departmental relationship and sound coordination with other Business Heads as well as Training & Development with an overall objective of achieving bank’s objectives.
    • • To ensure compliance of all regulations, rules, policies, SOPs of SBP & MMBL and raise any event of noncompliance to line managers.
    • Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree but a Master’s degree is preferable.
    • Have 10 plus years of relevant experience
    • Strong managerial/leadership skills;
    • Client Orientation.
    • Excellent presentation skills.
