Assistant Manager Systems

Job Details:

    • Linux Server/Client platforms administration and operations. Sound knowledge and experience of managing LDAP, SMTP, IMAP, SFTP and other protocols. Good oral and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office. Strong analytical skills. Time management. Customer Relationship. Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
    • 1.System Administration: Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems, including installation, configuration, patching, and ongoing operational support.
    • 2.Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance the overall efficiency and responsiveness of Linux environments.
    • 3. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard Linux systems against vulnerabilities, breaches, and unauthorized access. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • 4.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems, applications, and network connectivity. Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
    • 5.Automation: Develop and deploy automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks, system provisioning, and configuration management.
    • 6.Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or disasters.
    • 7.Networking: Configure and troubleshoot networking components, services, and protocols on Linux systems. Collaborate with network teams to ensure seamless connectivity.
    • 8.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and security to ensure seamless integration of Linux systems and applications.
    • 9.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
    • 10.Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the Linux ecosystem. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve system performance and reliability.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or other relevant field. Linux Certifications will be preferred. Minimum of 3~5 years related work experience.Minimum of 3 years related work experience Installation, Configuration and Management of Virtual Environment
    • Minimum of 3 years related work experience Installation, Configuration and Management Linux platform. 24 x 7 on-call availability of the resource even in Holidays/Annual leaves and he/she would be able to connect to corporate network to do the needful as and when required.
