Assistant Manager Bank Reconciliation

Job Details:

    • • Ensure daily reconciliations for various accounts, including correspondent banks, internal accounts, corporate clients, merchants, and insurance products.
    • • Develop and implement automated reconciliation processes using Oracle EBS to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • • Utilize SQL for query optimization and data analysis to support reconciliation activities.
    • • Work closely with the Bank Reconciliation Manager on ongoing and new automation projects.
    • • Demonstrate a deep understanding of banking industry practices, regulations, and reconciliation standards.
    • • Prepare and deliver daily reconciliation reports and analysis to management.
    • • Identify opportunities for process improvement and digitization to support the bank's digital agenda.
    • • Provide guidance and support to operations staff, ensuring they understand reconciliation procedures and utilize digital tools effectively.
    • • Collaborate with internal teams (business, IT, finance) to address system development and enhancement needs.
    • • Monitor all banking activities in order to detect irregularities
    • • Automate Daily, weekly, monthly customized dashboards for management information.
    • • Strong proficiency in Oracle EBS, with hands-on experience in SQL/PL SQL.
    • • In-depth knowledge of banking operations, reconciliation principles, and industry best practices.
    • • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • • Experience with reconciliation digitalization and automation tools.
    • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • • Minimum 8 years of experience as oracle front end, back end development and in reconciliation automation.
