Head of Ethics and Compliance involves leading and managing the organization's ethics and compliance programs to ensure adherence to legal standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies and establish high ethical standards of conduct.
This role is critical in safeguarding the organization's reputation and ensuring operational integrity by fostering a culture of ethical behavior and compliance with standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive ethics & compliance policies and procedures aligned with regulations, industry and group standards.
• Design, implement and promote ethics & compliance program.
• Ensure ethics and compliance operations are functioning adequately.
• Conduct risk assessments, due diligences, monitoring & testing to identify and mitigate potential areas of non-compliances and/or risks.
• Provide guidance, training, and communication to employees at all levels to raise awareness of ethical standards and regulatory requirements, covering topics such as Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Conflicts of Interest, Speak Up and Third Party Risk Management.
• Continuously improve compliance monitoring and controls by updating Compliance Control Framework.
• Manage and develop the ethics and compliance team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Manage reporting to Management, Board, Group and Regulator.
• Advise internal and external stakeholders on compliance risks and ethical matters.
• Manage interfaces, digital work flows and actively participate in automation initiatives.
• Conduct branch visits to inculcate a strong culture of ethics and compliance.
• Act as POC during audits, inspections, reviews and internal control testing pertaining to ethics & compliance.
• Liaise with group and take part in periodic calls with Group’s Compliance Officers.
• Participate in task forces formed by group to work on assignments pertaining to Ethics & Compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field with 10 + years of relevant experience.
