The Executive Manager / Unit Lead– Networks is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of the bank’s networking infrastructure. The role ensures the bank’s network systems operate efficiently, securely, and with minimal downtime, aligning with regulatory and business requirements.
• Lead the planning, design, and deployment of secure and scalable enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud networking architecture across all bank branches and data centers.
• Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of the network infrastructure.
• Oversee network operations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Implement network security controls in collaboration with the Information Security team (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, segmentation).
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to network services and equipment.
• Monitor network performance metrics and lead optimization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO,PCI DSS, GDPR, and local banking regulations).
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network systems.
• Responsible to maintain network inventory/assets, SLA, LLD & HLD, communication flows, policies and procedure for the network as per regulatory and compliance requirement
Key Skills & Competencies:
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking technologies.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in network management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/executive role.
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly desirable.
