Chief Strategic Initiatives and Corporate Affairs Officer

Job Details:

    • The Chief Strategic Initiatives & Corporate Affairs Officer will be responsible for leading and driving key strategic projects and initiatives that support the bank’s long-term growth and competitive positioning. This role also oversees the bank’s corporate affairs including stakeholder engagement specifically with JazzCash (JC). Additionally, this role will be aiding the transformation towards Islamic banking
    • • Act as a key advisor to the CEO on strategic matters and transformation initiatives. Ensure alignment across internal departments for strategic project execution.
    • • Collaborate with other departments to identify growth opportunities, operational efficiencies, and innovative solutions.
    • • Monitor and evaluate progress of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
    • • Lead coordination with JazzCash (JC) and VEON on Corporate Affairs.
    • • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance of all partnership contracts and monitor ongoing obligations.
    • • Liaise with Shariah advisors and ensure alignment with Islamic finance principles.
    • • Provide regular strategic reports, insights, and recommendations to the executive management and board.
    • • Bachelor’s degree; MBA, LLB/LLM or relevant advanced degree preferred.
    • • 10+ years’ experience in strategic management or corporate affairs, ideally within banking or financial services.
    • • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
    • • Knowledge of banking regulations, Islamic finance principles, and corporate governance.
