MMBL is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Manager Account Reconciliation to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all reconciliation processes, contributing to the financial health and operational excellence of the bank.
Perform daily bank reconciliations for all internal and correspondent bank accounts, including those for corporate clients, merchants, nano-lending, and insurance products, ensuring end-to-end data is shared with all relevant stakeholders.
Manage daily reconciliations for ATMs, IBFTs, and both core and branchless banking accounts. Must have a solid understanding of settlement processes with 1-Link and RAAST. Report all reconciliation activities and their outcomes to management daily via a dashboard.
Identify and implement opportunities for digitization to support the bank's digital agenda, and train operations staff on new digital processes.
Ensure strict adherence to the company's Code of Conduct and maintain a high level of competency and skill within the staff.
Work with internal teams (Business, IT, and Finance) on system development and enhancements.
Possess strong knowledge of both Core and Branchless Banking Operations, as well as insurance and operational risk. Must be proficient in the Core Banking system (T-24) and the branchless system (CPS).
Demonstrate a strong understanding of reconciliation digitalization and automation, along with excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong planning and organizing abilities, reporting and analytical skills, and attention to detail are also essential.
Handle any other tasks assigned by your line manager.
Education: Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution is required. An MBA or a degree in Computer Sciences is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial bank, microfinance bank (MFB), fintech, or IT industry is essential.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Python, and SQL is necessary.
