Asset & Liability business growth, planning, financing the unit professionally in effective way to ensure the unit meets its sales and profitability objectives in a Shariah-compliant manner, manage stakeholder relationships to meet internal service standards, enforce sales & service delivery to customer in accordance with bank policies, Islamic Banking, Relevant Shariah knowledge and SBP regulations.
Asset & Liability Business Planning & Management:
• Assist Regional Business Manager/Unit Head in preparing annual business plan for the branch asset & liability business and for other products and services ensuring Shariah-compliant offerings.
• Uphold the good business relationships with asset and liability sales customers
• Achievement of assigned targets as BM in liability sales and Takaful & other product
• Define deadlines and Set realistic targets/benchmarks for branch staff
• Staff periodic performance reviews
• Daily base asset portfolio reviews of branch and individuals, point-out the gaps in accordance with bank policy & procedures
• Ensure asset & liability portfolio max assigned targets are achieved
• Ensure basic portfolio indicators to be within the assigned benchmark
• Ensure smooth sailing of business within the branch & in the field.
• Ensure effective role of branch RM in portfolio quality and diversification management and RM Deposit in branch deposit max and building strong business relationships
• Develop cross selling culture of all bank products & services through regular trainings and staff capacity building
Branch Operations Supervision:
• Ensure smooth operation activities within the branch through regular checks
• Ensure policy compliance and regulator guidelines within all functions of branch operations including Shariah compliance
• Oversee the smooth sailing of branch operations and ensure all operations staff maintained the branch decorum
Collection & default Management:
• Portfolio performance review and proactive collection perusal, ensuring key portfolio indicators like CCR, PAR and W/Off are within the assigned benchmarks.
• Formulate & execute the collection & recovery strategy within the defined ethical norms, bank SOP’s and regulatory guidelines and Shariah-compliant regulatory guidelines.
Unit Profitability:
• Revenue management and ensure maximizing unit prolaticity/OSS through quality business generation.
• Regular reviews of branch P&L and identify the areas for unit OSS improvements
• Monthly presentations and strategy sharing with RBM on negative indicators that effect branch revenue.
Service Quality:
• Ensure branch achieve the desired results in better service delivery, diversity and inclusion
Team Building and Management:
• Effectively manage team, identify skill gap and impart on job training to make their team knowledge and skills in accordance with their job requirement. including Islamic banking knowledge.
• Intimate relevant department/HRBP for training and development needs of team / individual.
Any other task:
• Bank may assign any other related task from time to time
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable Institution, however Master OR Bachelor degree in Management Sciences, Commerce, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Agriculture Islamic Finance will be preferable.
• Preferably having up to one-year related experienceHave a minimum of 1- 3 years of relevant work experience, and at least one year with prior experience in Islamic banking highly preferred.
