Direction, coordinate, and evaluate assets business in a Shariah-compliant manner. Lead the unit effectively to ensure the achievement of asset product sale and profitability objectives in accordance with bank policies, SBP regulations, and Islamic principles. Serve the customers within target market in an exemplary manner, manage staff performance and development. Ensure appropriate customer facilitation in line with regulatory framework on Fair Treatment of Customers and Shariah compliance.
Business Growth:
• Identify potential untapped segments, businesses/ sectors, alliances for asset business growth Guide the RO’s in achieving their benchmarks, asset business targets, and cross-selling of other products and services ensuring Shariah-compliant offerings.
• Marketing of bank products and preparation of sales strategy considering assigned targets and market demands.
Cross Selling:
• Implement assigned sales/services plans to achieve business objectives by cross-selling tools.
Client Quality Verifications:
• Scrutinize and verify information, documents, collateral and other detail regarding applicants as narrated in the financing agreement.
• Ensure genuineness of financing requirement, business, applicant, guarantor and collateral to ensure that financing will not be hijacked or misused in line with Shariah standards.
Portfolio & Collection Management:
• Portfolio performance review and proactive collection perusal, ensuring key portfolio indicators like CCR, PAR and W/Off are within the assigned benchmarks.
• Formulate & execute the collection & recovery strategy within the defined ethical norms, bank SOP’s and and Shariah-compliant regulatory guidelines.
Compliance:
• Ensure compliance in sales, collection, portfolio management, and service delivery to the customers and Shariah compliance.
• Target low risk rating in portfolio and field related operations.
• Ensure that credit customers know the term and condition of the financing and they being informed about the relevant changes in policy and procedure aligned with Islamic principles.
• Ensure effective and standardized internal control, and report as per bank policies and SBP regulations.
Team Building and Management:
• Effectively manage team, identify skill gap and impart on job training to make their team knowledge and skills in accordance with their job requirement including Islamic banking knowledge.

• Intimate relevant department/HRBP for training and development needs of team / individual.
Any other task:
• Bank may assign any other related task from time to time
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable Institution, however Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Finance, Management Sciences, Commerce, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Agriculture will be preferable.
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience, with prior experience in Islamic banking highly preferred.
