Assistant Manager QA - Automation

Job Details:

    • As an Assistant Manager – QA Automation, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of quality across our products. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and passionate about quality.
    • Key Responsibilities
    • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
    • Identify, log, and track defects with precision, ensuring timely resolution through collaboration with development teams
    • Partner with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria
    • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to ensure system scalability and reliability
    • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for regression and performance testing
    • Ensure timely execution of tests and clear reporting of results
    • Advocate for quality best practices across the engineering organization, influencing processes, tools, and culture
    • Requirements
    • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
    • 3–5 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation
    • Good understanding of test automation tools and frameworks
    • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
    • Solid understanding of STLC and QA methodologies
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
    • Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance testing and Postman for API testing
    • Expertise in test case design and execution using structured approaches
    • Proficiency in multi-platform testing (Android, iOS, and Websites)
    • Familiarity with automation tools (Appium, Selenium, or similar) will be considered a strong plus
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
