• What is Network Security Expert - MMBL?
  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Security Expert to oversee and manage the design, implementation, and daily operations of our organization's network infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of network engineers to ensure seamless and secure network performance across multiple platforms including Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, Sophos etc. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with advanced networking technologies and a deep understanding of network security, Data Center management, and cloud concepts
• What Network Security Expert - MMBL does?
  • • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the organization's network infrastructure, including routing (BGP), switching, IPsec VPN, and SD-WAN, ensuring high availability and security.
  • • Manage and configure security solutions such as Cisco FTD Firewalls, Fortinet Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Sophos firewalls to protect the network from internal and external threats.
  • • Monitor network performance using tools like FortiAnalyzer and SolarWinds NMS to ensure optimal system uptime and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, operations, and other departments, to align network requirements with business goals.
  • • Oversee network management in datacentre environments, ensuring high-performance, secure, and scalable networks, with hands-on experience in Cisco datacentre, Huawei DCN, and virtualization technologies.
  • • Implement and manage private cloud concepts, integrating cloud-based networking solutions to provide flexibility, scalability, and security.
  • • Implement and maintain security protocols, including IPS, site-to-site IPsec VPNs, URL filtering, Sophos proxy concepts, and UTM licensing for enhanced security and content filtering.
  • • Lead efforts in troubleshooting and resolving network-related incidents, ensuring quick recovery and conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • • Conduct regular network assessments and capacity planning, preparing detailed performance reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • • Lead, mentor, and develop the network operations team, promoting ongoing skill development and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
  • • Work closely with other IT departments, project managers, and business units to support network requirements for ongoing projects and integrations, ensuring seamless implementation and operation.
• What are we looking for and what does it require to be Network Security Expert - MMBL?
  • 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 2. Experience: 7+ years of experience in network administration/operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • • Experience with SD-WAN solutions, especially Fortinet SD-WAN.
  • • Familiarity with Huawei DCN and other data center network technologies.
  • • Understanding of cloud networking and virtualization concepts.
  • • Knowledge of site-to-site IPsec VPN implementation and troubleshooting.
  • • Experience on FortiGate firewall, Cisco FTD firewall, Sophos Firewall and Juniper firewall.
  • • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls both for DC & Perimeter roles.
  • • Understanding of Zero trust network access.
  • • Understanding of MFA solutions for remote access VPN users.
  • • Knowledge of Sandboxing and DDOS solutions.
  • • Experience with iMaster Fabric Controller and iMaster NCE Campus (is plus)
  • 3. Technical Skills:
  • • Strong knowledge of BGP, IPSec, Fortinet SD-WAN, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Palo Alto Firewalls, Sophos Firewalls and Cisco FTD Firewalls.
  • • Expertise in Cisco and Huawei Data Center Networking (DCN), including virtualization technologies.
  • • Zero Trust Network Access.
  • • MFA for remote access VPN users.
  • • Hands-on experience with Sophos Proxy, URL Filtering, and UTM Features.
  • • Knowledge of IPS Architecture and advanced network security protocols.
  • • Familiarity with Private Cloud Concepts and network management in virtualized environments.
  • 4. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE/HCIE (is a plus), Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, or equivalent are highly desirable.
