Functional Lead Temenos Islamic Banking

Job Details:

    • We are seeking an experienced Temenos Islamic Banking Functional Consultant Lead
    • to spearhead the implementation, optimization, and support of Temenos Islamic
    • Banking solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Islamic banking
    • principles, hands-on experience with Temenos products (such as Temenos T24), and a
    • strong ability to lead teams in delivering complex banking transformation projects.
    • Lead the design and customization of Temenos Islamic Banking modules (such as
    • Murabaha, Mudarabah, Ijarah and other Islamic mode of financing etc.), ensuring
    • they meet both functional and technical specifications in compliance with Islamic
    • finance principles. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders,
    • including business leaders, project managers, and technical teams, ensuring smooth
    • communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee and
    • manage the end-to-end implementation of Temenos Islamic Banking solutions,
    • including business analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and postgo-live support. Ensure that the configuration and implementation of all Islamic
    • banking products adhere to Shariah principles and relevant compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating
    • them into detailed functional specifications. Provide expert advice on best practices
    • and the most effective use of Temenos solutions for Islamic banking needs. Analyze
    • and optimize business processes, recommending enhancements to streamline
    • operations and improve system efficiency. Ensure that the implemented solutions are
    • scalable and aligned with industry best practices. Lead the preparation, execution,
    • and sign-off of testing phases, including functional testing and User Acceptance
    • Testing (UAT). Ensure the product is delivered with high quality and meets business
    • needs. Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth
    • handovers and user adoption. Create comprehensive documentation, including user
    • manuals, training materials, and knowledge transfer documents. Stay up to date with
    • the latest developments in Islamic banking and Temenos products, proactively
    • identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in solution design and
    • delivery. Lead and mentor a team of functional consultants, ensuring that projects are
    • delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with client requirements. Guide
    • junior consultants in understanding complex business requirements and
    • configurations.
    • A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information
    • Technology, or a related field. Extensive experience in Temenos Islamic Banking
    • solutions, with a strong track record in T24 implementation and optimization. Deep
    • understanding of Islamic finance principles and Shariah-compliant banking products.
    • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex banking projects. A deep
    • understanding of Islamic finance structures and a proven track record of
    • implementing Shariah-compliant products within core banking platforms. Temenos
    • Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Temenos T24 or similar Temenos
    • products, with a deep understanding of their configuration and deployment in
    • Islamic banking contexts. Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in
    • Temenos T24 (or similar Temenos products) implementation, with at least 4 years of
    • experience specifically in Islamic banking. Proven experience in leading teams of
    • consultants and managing client relationships, particularly in complex, multi-phase
    • implementation projects. Ability to manage end-to-end functional consulting
    • engagements, from requirements gathering to solution delivery, while
    • troubleshooting and resolving complex functional issues. Excellent communication,
    • presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal clients and
    • deliver impactful solutions. Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously,
    • ensuring they are completed on time and meet the required standards. Relevant
    • certifications in Temenos products, Islamic finance, or banking technology are a plus.
