Assistant Manager Network Operations

    • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our team, ensuring that tasks are efficiently executed and goals are met. The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in maintaining availability and security of network. This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow as technical expert while working collaboratively with other team members.
    • 1. Operational Support: Assist the Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
    • 2. Problem-Solving: Address operational issues and incidents with effective troubleshooting to meet availability targets. Provide effective solutions to internal/external stakeholders ensuring promptly implementation.
    • 3. Project Assistance: Support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
    • 4. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports on operational metrics, and provide insights to improve performance.
    • 5. Inventory & Resource Management: Lead inventory management and resources to ensure capacity availability and efficiency in operations.
    • 6. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of work, ensuring that all processes are compliant with industry and company standards.
    • 7. Communication: Serve as a point of contact between staff and senior management, facilitating clear communication and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • 8. Training & Development: Assist in training new employees and supporting ongoing development for junior team members to ensure adherence to company standards.
    • 9. Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate staff to maintain high levels of performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
    • • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Information Security or equivalent experience.
    • • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
    • • Certifications (Relevant certifications may be preferred): CCNA, CCNP or equivalent
    • • Key Skills:
    • o Experience with FortiGate, PaloAlto, Cisco FTD, Sophos Firewall, FortiManager, Software Defined Data Center Solutions.
    • o Site-to-site IPsec VPN troubleshooting
    • o Knowledge of UTM features.
    • o SDWAN implantations and architecture
    • o Knowledge of Private Cloud concepts
    • o Previous experience in Network and Network Security
    • o Coordination with Internet Service Providers for branches support.
    • o Coordination with Internal Stake Holders for Network Support
    • Soft Skills:
    • • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
