Lead integrations architect

Job Details:

    • The role requires leading and managing implementation of digital banking applications. The position ensures analysis of requirements and translates those requirements into solution document. Lead end-to-end banking channels integration life cycle with CBS, overseeing everything from initial feasibility and effort estimation to complex migrations and long-term application maintenance. Responsibility to translate digital channels architecture and existing functionality into system flows, flowcharts, and database designs to guide the internal and external teams.
    • Manage and implement the integrations/changes between the CBS (Temenos), and digital channels.
    • Lead the end-to-end banking channels integration life cycle with CBS, overseeing everything from initial feasibility and effort estimation to complex migrations and long-term application maintenance.
    • Act as the technical gatekeeper for all changes. Perform impact analysis to ensure channel updates do not disrupt existing functions with core banking.
    • Analyze business requirements for new digital features and map them to existing or new CBS APIs/web services with digital channels.
    • Translate digital channels architecture and existing functionality into system flows, flowcharts, and database designs to guide the internal and external teams.
    • Supervise all patch deployments, system upgrades, and version releases within the defined core banking channels scope and timelines.
    • Enforce industry-standard implementation practices and architectural design patterns across all channels with core banking system.
    • Facilitate peer reviews and user testing phases; provide support for listing detailed channels use cases for core banking with stakeholders and technical support to ensure robust core banking channels integration and implementation.
    • Coordinate the full testing suite, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with core banking, in collaboration with internal and external partners.
    • Follow all organizational and IT security policies to ensure safe and stable operations.
    • Conduct thorough impact analysis to identify potential breaking changes in APIs, messaging protocols, or data mappings.
    • Participation in CFT (Cross functional team) to finalize the solutions and RFP.
    • As a CFT member Highlight the key technical features and requirements with respect to the standard practices and bank existing architecture and risks involved in new systems.
    • Have knowledge/experience of Middleware and ATM switches (IRIS, UBPS) and digital channels.
    • Integration and implementation experience with CBS (Temenos) for both conventional and Islamic Banking.
    • Proficiency in SQL to perform data validation and troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of ISO 8583 and ISO 20022.
    • Knowledge of core and branchless banking applications.
    • Knowledge of SDLC and adherence with all phases.
