The Contractual Legal Resource will support the Legal Department in handling increased litigation workload by managing court-related matters, conducting legal research, assisting in drafting legal documents, and providing advisory and compliance support. The role requires frequent court visits, coordination with external counsel, and occasional out-of-city travel to ensure timely and effective handling of legal matters.
Assist in managing litigation matters by coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders, gathering required information and monitoring case progress. Attend court proceedings on need basis, including traveling for critical matters, and ensure timely follow-ups and updates. Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions, while identifying risks and suggesting mitigation strategies. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, notices, and legal opinions, and provide advisory support accordingly. Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal matters, including litigation files, invoices, legal notices and relevant correspondence, and prepare reports and summaries as per the requirements.
Qualification: LL.B
Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in litigation and legal advisory
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court practices
Excellent legal research and drafting skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
Willingness to travel frequently (including out-of-city assignments)
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
