Assistant Manager Legal

Job Details:

    • Litigation Management
    • • Draft and respond to legal notices and also prepare other legal documents.
    • • To provide legal opinions in matters related to HR (e.g. warnings, show cause notices, enquiries etc.)
    • • To coordinate and liaise with peer departments and external legal counsels for smooth sharing of information required for contesting/defending the court cases.
    • • meeting with internal relevant departments in relation to litigations and external counsels in order to discuss and finalize the case strategies.
    • • Provide assistance to the branches/offices for filing of suits and follow up of all legal cases.
    • • Drafting and review of written statements/Para-wise comments/applications etc. for courts related documents in litigious matters.
    • • Studies constitution, decisions, regulations and ordinances of quasi - judicial bodies to determine consequences for cases and reviews legal reports, statements and contracts accordingly and ensures the legal integrity of the documents.
    • • Drafting: including but not limited to Undertakings, NOCs, Bank Guarantees, Bonds, new product documents and policies, internal SOPs/policies, business correspondences.
    • • Securing Intellectual Property Rights of the organizations and coordinating with counsel for timely registration of Trade Marks/Copy Rights of the bank.
    • Responding Branches in day to queries regarding customers legal claims
    • Hold a LLB or LLM degree from a reputable Institution.
    • Have 3-5 years relevant work experience
    • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Key Skills:
    • a) Microfinance banking experience is an advantage.
    • b)Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
    • c)Excellent presentation skills.
    • d) Excellent Excel skills
