The Head of Business Technology leads the strategy and execution of core banking systems, digital
platforms, and application development. This role ensures seamless integration, operational
efficiency, and compliance across all technology functions. Working closely with senior leadership,
the position drives digital transformation and delivers secure, scalable, and customer-focused tech
solutions aligned with business goals.
Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of core banking systems, ADCs, in-house
software development, and mobile applications
• Ensure seamless integration of Temenos T24 across banking functions for operations, transactions,
and compliance
• Maintain system stability, security, performance, and drive continuous innovation
• Manage upgrades, enhancements, and strategic alignment of core banking platform
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure technology supports current and future business needs
• Oversee Internet Banking (IRIS), UBPS, and Mobile Banking (MONETA) platforms
• Ensure regulatory compliance and execution of digital initiatives
• Led middleware replacement project and in-sourcing of bill payment and home remittance
• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of core applications and mobile platforms
• Ensure applications are secure, user-friendly, high-performing, and integrated with core and third
party systems
• Coordinate across business units, UX/UI teams, and infrastructure to deliver impactful solutions
• Monitor technology trends to ensure the bank’s digital efforts remain future-ready
• Manage cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective, timely, and high-quality solutions
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring innovation and operational
excellence
• Promote a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and customer value
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in CS from a reputable Institution, however Master in CS will be
preferable.
• Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience of working in IT/Telecom/Bank industry.
