    • Security Operations & Incident Management
    • • Lead the identification, assessment, investigation, reporting, mitigation, and continuous monitoring of information security incidents.
    • • Oversee enterprise-wide security monitoring activities to detect and respond to network and infrastructure-based threats.
    • • Validate and monitor SPAN feeds from network devices integrated with IDS/IPS platforms to identify network anomalies and suspicious activities.
    • • Perform SIEM use-case development, fine-tuning, alert optimization, and event correlation to enhance threat visibility and detection capabilities.
    • • Establish and enhance security operational processes to strengthen the organization's infrastructure security framework.
    • 2. Network Security Architecture & Engineering
    • • Design, implement, and oversee enterprise security solutions including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS), Network Access Control (NAC), Load Balancers (LB), VPN solutions, and related security technologies.
    • • Develop and maintain secure network and wireless security architectures aligned with industry best practices and organizational security objectives.
    • • Design and implement Work-At-Home (WAH) security architectures, standards, and policies to ensure secure remote access and connectivity.
    • • Lead network modelling, assurance, and security enhancement initiatives to improve resilience and security posture.
    • 3. Infrastructure Security Governance & Compliance
    • • Ensure infrastructure security controls are aligned with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and globally recognized security standards.
    • • Conduct configuration reviews of network and security devices to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
    • • Audit and review security controls across network, cloud, DNS, malware protection, NAC, IDS/IPS, VPN, firewall, and web application security environments.

    • The Manager Network Security – Information Security is responsible for leading the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization's network and infrastructure security framework. The role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems by overseeing security operations, incident management, risk assessments, vulnerability management, security architecture, and compliance initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for managing enterprise security technologies, strengthening the organization's security posture through proactive monitoring and control assessments, and ensuring alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. The role also serves as a key stakeholder for security projects, client security assessments, audit engagements, and the development of secure network and remote access architectures across the enterprise.
    • • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Security, Computer Science or related.
    • • Certifications:
    • o Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) (Required)
    • o CISM/CISA/CISSP (Preferred)
    • o CCNA/CCNP/PCNSE Security or equivalent certification (Preferred)
    • o ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor and PCI DSS awareness is a plus
    • Experience:
    • • 8 – 12 years of overall experience in network security & cybersecurity.
    • • Minimum 3+ years in Network operations Centre.
    • • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • o NGFW, Routers, Switches, Identity & Access Management, NAC Solutions, DNS Security, Proxy Solutions & Cloud Platforms.
    • o Active Directory Auditing or similar identity audit solutions
    • o SIEM, SOAR, Database Activity Monitoring
    • o XDR and Network Detection Response
    • o IDS/IPS platforms
    • o Integration and management of threat intelligence feeds
    • Skills & Competencies:
    • • Penetration testing in a range of systems including network devices, network security appliances and servers.
    • • Understanding and application of a range of manual penetration testing techniques as well as proficiency with common security testing tools.
    • • Conduct network scan on a wide variety of technologies and implementations utilizing both automated tools and manual techniques for Network and Systems penetration tests.
    • • Demonstrate an ability to methodically analyze problems, identify solutions and remain composed in potentially stressful situations.
    • • Adequately explain, present, demonstrate and document the operational impact of a particular vulnerability.
    • • Must possess deep understanding of Data networks, Microsoft/UNIX/LINUX communication mechanisms along with Microsoft Office.
    • • Understand and be proficient in common cyber threat terminology, methodologies, possess basic understanding of cyber incident and response, and related current events.
    • • Knowledge of financial regulatory compliance requirements, especially SBP regulations and ISO 27001.
    • • Exhibit good writing and communications skills, to include the ability to render concise reports, summaries, and formal oral presentations.
    • • Developing new skills within technical information security.
