Assistant Manager Bank Reconciliation

Job Details:

    • The Assistant Manager of Bank Reconciliation is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely reconciliation of the bank’s core clearing accounts, digital payment systems, and interbank settlement pipelines. This role bridges the gap between daily data processing and high-level risk management. The AM oversees daily matching cycles, ensures swift exception handling to prevent liquidity risks, and prepares structured reports for senior management while guiding junior reconciliation officers.
    • o Ensure Daily Bank reconciliation with correspondent Banks, Internal Accounts, Corporate Clients, Merchants, Nano Landing, Insurance products
    • and all other products involving movement of funds from one place to another, with end to end data sharing to all stakeholders.
    • o Ensure ATMs, IBFTs, Bank accounts (Core & Branchless Banking) daily reconciliations. Sound knowledge of settlement with 1-Link & RAAST.
    • o Responsible for reporting of all reconciliations performed with their treatment to the management on daily basis in dashboard. Ensure complete
    • understanding of Code of Conduct and maintain strict adherence.
    • o Identify process for digitization and ensure implementation of the bank’s digital agenda and train the operations staff accordingly. Interaction with
    • Internal Teams (Business/ IT/ Finance) for any development/enhancement in system. Having prudent knowledge of Insurance and operational Risk. o Ensure good knowledge of Core & Branchless Operations. Having command on Core Banking system(T-24) & branchless system CPS. Ensure high
    • competency & skill level of the staff is maintained at all times. Strong Understanding of Reconciliation digitalization & automation. Time
    • management. Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills Strong Planning and Organizing skills Reporting & analytical skills Detail
    • Orientation. Managing any other tasks given by Line Manager.
    • o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field (e.g., BBA, MBA Finance, M.Com).
    • o Have a minimum of ‘5 years’ experience of working in microfinance industry.
