To manage the contract lifecycle and governance framework in alignment with MMBL’s digital first strategy and regulatory requirements. The role ensures legal compliance, risk mitigation, and strong governance practices to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Contracts Management
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with bank clientele, fintech partners, technology vendors, and service providers.
• Ensure all contracts comply with SBP regulations, data privacy laws, and internal policies.
• Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Compliance & Risk
• Ensure adherence to SBP Prudential Regulations, AML/CFT guidelines, and other applicable laws.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to address governance-related risks.
• Report governance and contractual breaches promptly and recommend corrective actions.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as a liaison between internal teams (IT, Operations, Finance) and external stakeholders for contract and governance matters.
• Provide the best practices for training, guidance and contract management.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: LLB/LLM or equivalent; certification in corporate governance preferred.
• Experience: 5–7 years in contract management, preferably in banking/financial services or fintech.
• Strong understanding of SBP regulations, contract law, and corporate governance principles.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Skills
• Risk awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced digital environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems.
