The Manager – Digital Payments Reconciliation & Governance is a critical operational role within the DFS Operations department. This position oversees daily reconciliation, clearing, settlement, and operational governance workflows across all digital financial services and payment channels.
Operating at the center of high-volume transactions, the role ensures precise balance across transaction and GL reconciliations, mobile wallet flows, payment switches, card schemes, and third-party APIs transactions matching. Furthermore, the Manager enhances operational efficiency and enforces strict internal controls for reconciliations.
Manage operational execution of daily, real-time, and periodic reconciliation across all digital payment rails (Mobile Wallets, RAAST, 1LINK, Card Schemes, IBFT, Merchant Acquiring, QR, and Bill Aggregators).
Oversee end-to-end multi-party clearing and settlement operations to ensure accurate fund movement between partner banks, switches, aggregators, and core ledgers.
Identify manual, spreadsheet-based reconciliation streams across new or legacy digital payment products and transition them into automated, system-driven workflows
Manage day-to-day operations of transactions reconciliation, GL balances, Settlement accounts, and clearing suspense ledgers.
Manage aging of open items in reconciliations, ensuring zero unassigned or un-investigated balances within DFS Operations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Commerce.
5 to 6 years of core operational experience in financial reconciliation or payment operations, with at least 3 years directly within Digital Financial Services (DFS), Mobile Wallet Operations, or Payment Switch Operations.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume transactional workloads and lead operational teams effectively.
