• What is Manager Cyber Security Projects - MMBL?
  • The Manager – Cyber Security Projects will be responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and delivering cybersecurity projects and initiatives across the organization. The role will ensure that cybersecurity projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards while meeting organizational security requirements, regulatory obligations, and applicable State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and industry standards.
  • The position will work closely with Information Security, IT, Infrastructure, Applications, Digital Banking, Risk, Compliance, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure that security requirements are incorporated throughout the project lifecycle.

  • • Project Management: Lead, manage, and coordinate all aspects of cybersecurity projects, from initiation to completion.
  • • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, infrastructure, software development, data technology, and external vendors, to ensure project success.
  • • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, making appropriate modifications to meet evolving needs and requirements.
  • • Scope and Schedule Management: Manage project scopes and schedules, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

  • • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on cybersecurity projects.
  • • Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
  • • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and working with external vendors.
  • • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification/coursework preferred.
  • • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in cybersecurity.
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
