• Manage end-to-end IT procurement, commercial negotiations, RFP/RFQ issuance, and technology vendor contract lifecycles.
• Establish and maintain an active 12-month Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), software license, and hardware warranty renewal tracking register.
• Conduct commercial and technical audits on active vendor proposals to optimize IT budget spend and eliminate vendor auto-renewals.
• Collaborate with Bank Supply Chain, Legal, and Compliance units to ensure IT contracts adhere to SBP third-party risk guidelines and data privacy regulations.
• Monitor technology vendor performance against contractual SLAs, milestone deliverables, and licensing compliance matrices.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives across software licensing (Oracle, Temenos, Microsoft), cloud compute, data center hardware, and network link expenditures.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 5 to 8+ years of dedicated IT procurement, vendor management, or contract negotiation experience within banking or enterprise IT sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise IT licensing models (core banking, databases, cloud, middleware, network hardware).
• Proficiency in RFP/RFQ formulation, vendor evaluation scoring matrices, and financial total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) analysis.
• Solid knowledge of SBP regulatory guidelines regarding IT outsourcing and vendor risk management.
Desirable Skills:
• CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification; ITIL Vendor Management certification.
