Executive technical leadership over the T24 Core Banking engineering team within Pillar 1, driving in-house code development, core system routine customization, and platform optimization under the TAFJ (Temenos Application Framework Java) environment.
• Lead end-to-end technical architecture, strategy, and execution for Core Banking Data Migrations (e.g., legacy core systems to Temenos T24 Transact AA), defining extraction schemas, transformation rules, OFS upload routines, and reconciliation routines.
• Oversee the technical design and development of T24 local components, Arrangement Architecture (AA) routines, System Screens (Versions), Enquiries, Deal Slips, Local Reference Fields, and custom user exits.
• Architect and optimize high-throughput integration interfaces using Open Financial Services (OFS), IRIS APIs, and middleware gateways connecting T24 with payment switches and digital channels.
• Direct database schema optimization, SQL query tuning, and performance bottleneck resolution on Oracle Database supporting the T24 instance, ensuring optimal Close of Business (COB) batch processing cycle performance.
• Partner with Pillar 3 (BA Hub) to review Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and ensure accurate translation into technical solution designs without compromising core engine stability.
• Bachelors/master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Have a minimum 8+ years of core banking software development experience, with a mandatory minimum of 5+ years of hands-on T24 development AND core banking data migration experience.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
• Deep technical mastery of Temenos T24 Transact architecture, TAFJ framework, Java development, InfoBasic/jBase, and Arrangement Architecture (AA) layouts.
• Proven hands-on track record of leading large-scale Core Banking Data Migration projects (data extraction, ETL scripting, OFS batch loading, and GL reconciliation).
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database administration layer for T24, SQL query tuning, indexing, and COB batch cycle performance optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in integration protocols: IRIS APIs, Open Financial Services (OFS), REST/SOAP Web Services, and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker/OKE).
Desirable Skills:
• Temenos Certified Technical Consultant (TAFJ track); Oracle Certified Professional (OCP); Java SE Developer certification.
