Write, debug, review, and optimize high-quality Java-based / InfoBasic local code tailored specifically for the TAFJ (Temenos Application Framework Java) environment.
Develop, test, and execute automated data migration scripts, OFS batch upload routines, file extractors, and transformation tools for core banking data migration workflows.
• Build and parameterize T24 local components, Arrangement Architecture (AA) product routines, custom screens (Versions), Enquiries, Deal Slips, and validation rules based on FRS specifications.
• Implement and maintain T24 integration hooks, including Open Financial Services (OFS) message processing, IRIS REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware message routines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Close of Business (COB) batch processing cycles alongside operations teams, resolving database deadlocks, locking issues, or code execution bottlenecks.
• Write and optimize Oracle SQL queries to fetch data, generate technical logs, or resolve data discrepancies during system testing and migration cycles.
• Maintain code repositories using Git, participate in peer code reviews, and support deployment packaging across Dev, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Bachelors/master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Have a minimum 5+ years of active, hands-on Temenos T24 software development experience, including direct experience in writing T24 core migration routines and data loading tools.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
• Hands-on proficiency in TAFJ framework, Java development, InfoBasic/jBase, and T24 AA module customization.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in executing core banking data migrations using OFS routines, database extraction scripts, and automated data mapping validation tools.
• Solid understanding of Oracle Database relational concepts, SQL syntax, query optimization, and T24 database layer configurations.
• Practical experience with Open Financial Services (OFS), IRIS APIs, Unix/Linux shell scripting, Git version control, and Jira issue tracking.
Desirable Skills:
• Temenos Academy Technical Training certifications (TAFJ track); Oracle Cloud / OCI fundamentals; Agile Developer certifications.
