• What is Assistant Manager Accounts Islamic Banking - MMBL?
  • The Assistant Manager Accounts - Islamic Banking shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial accounting processes, ensuring accurate GL/PL mappings across multiple systems, supporting governance and controls. The role will oversee reconciliation activities, financial analytics, system testing, and audit compliance to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to regulatory, accounting, and Shariah requirements.
• What Assistant Manager Accounts Islamic Banking - MMBL does?
  • • Ensure chart of accounts integrity and compliance with internal finance policies.
  • • Maintain and monitor end-to-end mapping of GLs & PLs of Pool Management System, Core Banking System and Financial Reporting System.
  • • Validate GL mapping changes before deployment and ensure proper workflow.
  • • Review new product setups and ensure proper accounting treatments.
  • • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Core Banking changes, Pool Management System enhancements and Finance system upgrades.
  • • Validate accounting entries generated through new products or system changes.
  • • Ensure proper documentation of testing results and sign-offs.
  • • Participate in development of policies and procedures.
  • • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
  • • Investigate reconciliation breaks and coordinate resolution relevant functions.
  • • Ensure timely closure of outstanding reconciliation items.
  • • Perform trend analysis and identify unusual movements requiring management attention.
  • • Prepare financial MIS reports for senior management.
  • • Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • • Perform periodic review of Pool Management System parameters and configurations.
  • • Timely closure of audit observations, implementation of audit recommendations and management action plans.

  • • Hold at least bachelor’s degree.
  • • Having 2-3 + years of relevant experience.
